Introduction: In October 2014, the SGO endorsed genetic testing for all individuals with epithelial
ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer (EOC). Limited studies have
shown genetic counseling (GC) referral rates of 20%. Genetic mutations involving 21
genes are thought to explain 24% of EOC. Our objective was to identify rates of GC
referral and the incidence of gene mutations in patients (pts) with EOC at Hartford
Hospital (HH) and The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC).
